In Austin, we’re as excited about our Book festival as we are about our music festivals 🙂
We are thrilled to be partnering with the Texas Book Festival this year which will be held downtown on the Capitol grounds on October 27th and 28th! The TBF is a wonderful and FREE event which showcases internationally-acclaimed authors and provides educational activities and entertainment for children and adults. This fall they will host more South Asian authors than ever, including Fatima Farheen Mirza (A Place For Us) and Sandhya Menon (When Dimple Met Rishi and From Twinkle, With Love)! We will continue to announce authors throughout the summer! Read their books and come meet them at the festival, and be sure to visit SAAM in the Children’s Activity Tent on Sunday at 2:00 pm!
